Be the Warrior
Put on chain mail and armour, pick your weapon, and feel Tallinn's medieval might!
Know the history, be the history, and take a piece of history home
Welcome to Epping Tower, an Old Town tower first built in the 1370s that offers an interactive exhibition dedicated to the development of Tallinn's medieval fortifications and arms. The exhibit spans six floors and showcases the rich history of Tallinn's medieval wall and tower complex through informative and historically relevant displays.
Visitors of all ages can try on a selection of chain mail and helmets, and handle medieval replica weapons. Immerse in history and take memorable photos! For the most special souvenir, grab the hammer and mint a copy of Tallinn's first coin. On the top floor, you will find an authentic, full-sized catapult overlooking the seasonal Tower Square. All displays are in both English and Estonian, and we welcome groups, bookings, and events. Come and experience a fun and educational adventure for the whole family at Epping Tower!
